CONTINUED FOR 2010 - NASPORT is pleased to announce that Goodyear will once again participate in the NASPORT contingency program for 2010 with the following tire awards program for both NASPORT N3 (GT-3) and NASPORT NL (GTL, EP, & FP) classes:
• 3 Entries/Class – Awards a 2-Tire Certificate to the winner of each class.
• 6-11 Entries/Class – Awards a 2-Tire Certificate to the winner of each class, Awards a 1-Tire Certificate to second place finisher in each class.
• 12+ Entries/Class – Awards a 2-Tire Certificate to the winner of each class, Awards a 1-Tire Certificate to second place finisher in each class, plus Awards 2 additional 1-Tire Certificates to be used in a random drawing by the drivers of both classes.

NASPORT is a race organization which is managed by the competitors as a group, and operates as a Regional Class under the organization of the San Francisco Region of SCCA. NASPORT previously operated as a semi-pro National Series for 16 straight years, (1987 through 2003). The purpose built tube frame race cars that compete in NASPORT conform to the GT3/GTL specifications, with Nasport only performance enhancements. NASPORT has developed a rules package that is based on the SCCA 2010 GCR’s, with provisions to allow performance variations as required to equalize the field. These supplemental regulations have been developed to balance the performance of the cars to 2010 levels. The intent is to start with a reasonably level playing field to create close competitive racing, and then tweak the rules only as required to keep the competition close.

NASPORT welcomes new competitors who wish to explore our format and stretch their efforts, either in a personal best or to step up to the state-of-the-art tube frame highly developed GT3 or GTL race cars. The GTL class includes SCCA EP and FP cars and encourages other race cars that conform to the GTL formula to participate with NASPORT.
Drivers are required to be a member of SCCA and hold a valid Competition Racing License recognized by SCCA. Entries shall be mailed directly to San Francisco SCCA following the SFR SCCA entry procedures.

All drivers will be held to Pro-level driving, decorum, and standards per NASPORT history. No novice or inexperienced drivers will be permitted.

NASPORT welcomes all qualified drivers, and encourage input from those that wish to compete.
The series directors announced a 6-race series schedule to be held over 3 double race weekends in conjunction with the San Francisco Region, Regional race series.

Thunderhill July 23, 24 & 25 Double Regional / NASPORT
